PUR-2 Topcoat is a high-quality two-component polyurethane resin for the sealing of concrete floors indoors and outdoors. We recommend it especially as a final treatment for our BASIL® floor concrete. PUR-2 creates a vapor-permeable, silk-matt film on the surface, which makes the concrete floor easy to care for and permanently protects against the weather. The transparent material is non-yellowing and has only a slight color-deepening effect when applied to the concrete surface.
PUR-2 Topcoat is solvent-free and can be diluted to pre-paint porous substrates with up to 10% water. The processing is done with a brush or with a mohair roll. Used tools can be washed out with water.
The double package PUR-2 Topcoat contains 4.5 kg of component A and 0.5 kg of component B. Both components must be intensively mixed with the whisk. The total amount of 5 kg is sufficient depending on the absorbency of the substrate for 20 to 50 square meters per coat. The mixed material can be processed for 6 hours. After 12 hours, the treated area is walkable and fully loadable after five days.
