For a lightfast, weatherproof and abrasion-resistant coat of paint, there is nothing better than our proven BACKSTEIN® 1962 full colour and tinting paint. It can be used pure or as a tint for our white wall paints, is very easy to apply and is open to diffusion, which is particularly important on concrete and plaster outdoors. All shades can be mixed with each other.
You can apply the paint to all load-bearing substrates. We recommend priming the surface with our SQ PENETRATING PRIMER or EQ PAINTING GROUND for optimum substrate adhesion.
Our 1962 series paints are ready to use and do not need to be stirred before use. They can be diluted with water. Consumption is 140 to 200 ml per m² when applied as a single coat.
NOTE: Only the shades oxide red, oxide green, black, terracotta, ochre, umber and gothic brown are suitable for tinting our 1962 MINERAL wall paint.
