With our TEGNO® special cement you can easily manufacture ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) with compressive strengths beyond 150 Newtons per square millimetre. The basis for this revolutionary product is the NANODUR® technology from Dyckerhoff. TEGNO® is identical in content to NANODUR Compound 5941.
TEGNO® is used where particularly high demands on strength, surface hardness and dimensional stability exist, such as machine beds and machine frames, where it is even superior to steel.
Since TEGNO® is prepared with extremely little water, the addition of a suitable superplasticizer and the use of an effective mixer are mandatory. We recommend our superplasticizer FLUP® - PCE-375, specially tailored to TEGNO®, which you can order here in the shop. The superplasticizer should be added directly to the mixing water in order to encourage the plasticizing effect. Our FLUP® - PCE-375 now makes it possible to manufacture TEGNO® - Concrete (UHPC) in a cement mixer with mixing times under 10 minutes.
Our recommended standard recipe consists of 1 kg of TEGNO®, 410 g of washed sand (air dry, granulation size 0 to 2 mm) and 840 g of crushed basalt (air dry, granulation size 2 to 5 mm) plus 13 g superplasticizer FLUP®-PCE-375 and 160 g of water. A special concrete with an extremely high modulus of elasticity (E > 80 GPa) can be produced from TEGNO® in conjunction with our DURIGID aggregate. For this concrete the recipe consists of 1050 g of TEGNO®, 1193 g of DURIGID 1-3 mm, 430 g of DURIGID 3-6 mm plus 17 g superplasticizer FLUP®-PCE-375 and 149 g of water. Please note that when you use wet sand, it usually contains between 25 and 100% of the total allowable amount of water, and so reduce the amount of additional water accordingly. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not use other additives such as accelerators or retarders.
Of course, we also supply whole pallets at a fair price. Select the option "with unloading aid" to ensure that the truck delivering the goods has a lifting platform. If you have a forklift available and can unload the goods yourself, this is not necessary. Then you can simply choose the cheaper "whole pallet" option.
