PANTAPOR is a protein-based additive for the production of foam, which is used to prduce porous lightweight concrete with a density of 0.4 to 2.0 kg/dm³. Lightweight concrete produced with PANTAPOR can be used as a thermal insulation, insulating layer, leveling layer and for filling channels, pipes and shafts.
The application is done in two steps. In the first step, the foam is made by mixing PANTAPOR and water. This requires a FOAM GENERATOR. For the production of small quantities of foam, the PUNKY foam whisk is well suited. In the second step, the foam is mixed under the prepared concrete. Due to the foam, the lightweight concrete is easy to process without segregating.
The mixing ratio of PANTAPOR to water should be 1:40. A quantity of 20 g of PANTAPOR in combination with 800 g of water gives about 10 liters of foam.
For a lightweight concrete with a bulk density of about 0.6 kg/l (lighter than water), the composition would be, for example: 3100 g of cement + 2100 g of sand + 1100 g of water (for the basic mass) + 7.15 liters of foam, being mixed in subsequently. For any other composition, follow the recommendations in our MIXING CHART.
PANTAPOR is made from natural proteins and therefore has a particularly high stability.
