PYRAMIT is a new type of white and refractory casting concrete with excellent flow properties and high strength. It is particularly suitable for smaller objects without reinforcement where very good moulding accuracy is required and which are also exposed to high thermal stresses. Its extraordinary properties make PYRAMIT the ideal material for concrete tableware, for example, because the material can withstand temperatures of up to 1600 °C. And that makes it possible to glaze workpieces made of PYRAMIT in a kiln.
The specific weight of PYRAMIT is about a quarter less than that of normal concrete. Therefore the objects made of it are comparatively light.
PYRAMIT is white and can be dyed with our pigment types 017 (green), 130 (red), 219 (white) and 502 (blue). The recommended maximum dose is 15 g pigments per kg dry matter. Depending on the ambient temperature, the concrete sets in about 30 to 90 minutes and hardens within 1 to 2 days.
