The PELICAN is the little brother of the Portamix HIPPO mixer. It can be used as a supplement or as an alternative to the HIPPO. The basic model of the PELICAN is a roller container with a balanced tilting mechanism, designed for transporting and distributing the mix previously produced in the HIPPO. In this job, the PELICAN handles a complete HIPPO load of up to 85 litres or 160 kg at a time.
The PELICAN can also be used for mixing itself. Any commercially available agitator can be permanently installed in the PELICAN for this purpose. For optimum mixing results, the PELICAN is available fully equipped with the EM182R Premium mixer from Portamix, which can be permanently installed or used as a mobile unit as required.
The PELICAN gives the Portamix system maximum flexibility:
Variant 1) The mix is mixed in the HIPPO and transported to the pouring location. (standard case)
Variant 2) The mix is mixed in the HIPPO and transported to the watering location with one or more PELICAN containers. (Particularly efficient work processes for large construction sites)
Variant 3) The mix is mixed in the PELICAN and transported to the pouring site. (Flexible solution for small construction sites)
